Romania is the guest of honour at the Sofia International Bookfair, held in the National Palace of Culture on December 9–14, 2014. The following Romanian writers published by Polirom or Cartea romaneasca are present at the event: Gabriela Adamesteanu, Petru Cimpoesu, Ioan Grosan, Dan Lungu, Lucian Dan Teodorovici, Ioana Nicolaie, Simona Popescu, Matei Visniec.
